Temperature: Mycelium is highly adaptable and can grow at 3~31℃, with the optimum temperature being 25~28℃; the optimum growth temperature for fruiting bodies is 25~30℃. 2. Humidity: For log cultivation, the moisture content needs to be 42%~47%; for bag material cultivation, the moisture content of the culture medium is about 60%. When fruiting bodies occur, the relative humidity of the air is required to be 85%~90%. If it is lower than 80% or higher than 95%, the growth will be poor. 3. Air: Versicolor is an aerobic fungus. In a well-ventilated environment, the mycelium grows rapidly and the fruiting bodies develop healthily. 4. Light: Mycelium does not require light to grow, but fruiting bodies require the stimulation of scattered light, and the fruiting bodies have the characteristic of growing towards light. 5. Acidity and alkalinity: It prefers an acidic environment and grows well at pH 4~5.6. |
