Requirements for the breeding farm: The breeding farm should be warm in winter and cool in summer, with the temperature preferably between 16℃ and 32℃. In the hot summer season, pay attention to shading and cooling, and in the winter, take timely precautions against cold and keep warm. Farming method:

(1) Pond culture: Build several brick or stone ponds of 20 to 40 square meters and 50 cm high in a quiet place in the courtyard. The shape of the ponds should be rectangular or square. The bottom and walls of the ponds should be plastered with cement to make them solid and smooth to prevent pangolins from escaping. Several pangolin caves were built with stones in the pool, and a large amount of soil was piled on top. Each cave is separated and not connected to each other. Leave an activity area of ​​5 to 10 square meters in the center of the pond, pile a large amount of soil on it and plant weeds and small trees to create a good activity venue. A large number of trees should be planted around the site to provide shade. During the summer rainy season, there should be something to shelter from the rain and a special drainage channel to prevent rainwater from soaking the cave.

(2) Closed breeding consists of an indoor hut of 2 to 4 square meters and an outdoor activity area of ​​4 to 6 square meters. The indoor and outdoor areas are all made of cement floors. There are caves inside for pangolins to hide and live. The activity area is surrounded by walls or wire mesh, and the top of the cage is closed with wire mesh. Each cage can hold 2 to 4 pangolins.
