Boil honeysuckle water for bathing

Many people use honeysuckle to make tea to achieve the effect of clearing heat and detoxifying. Honeysuckle tea has a refreshing smell and is suitable for both young and old. But what many people don’t know is that honeysuckle can actually be used for bathing. Because honeysuckle can clear away heat, detoxify, kill bacteria, etc., it has a good therapeutic effect on some skin diseases. So what are the specific effects of bathing in water boiled with honeysuckle?

1. Taking a bath with honeysuckle can cure eczema

Honeysuckle is a traditional Chinese medicine that clears away heat and removes dampness. Taking a bath with it can remove damp heat and toxic gases from the human body. It has a very obvious therapeutic effect on skin eczema caused by excessive dampness and toxic gases.

2. Taking a bath with honeysuckle can nourish the skin and prevent dermatitis

Taking a bath with honeysuckle can nourish the skin, remove keratin and dead skin, and eliminate a variety of pathogens on the surface of the skin. It has a good preventive and therapeutic effect on skin inflammation. Regular use can also make the skin delicate and smooth.

3. Method

1) Use fresh honeysuckle vines with leaves for bathing, the amount used is half of the large pot of boiling water, that is, half a pot. If it is a dry product, use one-fifth.

2) Soak in flour water for 15 minutes, then rinse with clean water. Repeat several times until the water is very clear.

3) Boil in cold water for 20 minutes and filter out the water. Then add water to the pot again and cook it again. It is best to cook it 3 more times.

4) Cool the boiled water to a suitable temperature (do not add fresh water) and give your child a bath. Do not soak the scratched areas.

5) After taking a bath, do not wash with clean water or bath gel, but gently dry with a towel to allow the medicinal properties to fully penetrate.

6) The purpose of boiling honeysuckle vines in water is to take a bath, not just to wipe the rash.

7) Some of the honeysuckle vines sold in the market are smoked with sulfur. Sulfur is warm in nature and is effective for some skin diseases that require anti-inflammatory and sterilization. However, infant eczema is hot in nature. If you use this method to treat your child and a systemic skin reaction occurs, be sure to stop using it immediately and rinse with plenty of water or saline. To be on the safe side, be sure to soak it several times in flour water and wash it thoroughly.
