The inflorescence is scorpion-shaped or dichotomous cyme, terminal, densely covered with long soft hairs, with 3-7 flowers; the peduncle is 1.5-3cm long; the bracts are extremely small and fall off early; the calyx is bell-shaped and tubular, about 5mm long; the petals are pink, oblong, about 4mm long, and only the midrib is covered with soft hairs on the outside; there are 3 stamens, equal in length, often leaning to one side; the ovary is urceolate, with a membranous crown at the apex and 3 notches. Capsule obconical, slightly 3-ribbed, 5-7mm long, 4-5mm in diameter, 3 longitudinally fissured, adnate to persistent calyx; persistent calyx glabrous, with 6 veins. The flowering period is from June to July, and the fruiting period is from September to December.
