Hawthorn Licorice Tea

Ingredients: 100g hawthorn, 50g licorice, 2 liters water

Method: Add a small amount of alkaline flour to clean water and soak the hawthorn for 10 minutes. Remove the stems and cut into two halves. Add water again and bring to a boil over medium heat. Continue to simmer over low heat for 10 minutes. Pour the licorice and the water used to soak the licorice into the pot, and simmer for another 5 minutes before turning off the heat.
