Buy an appropriate amount of Evodia rutaecarpa, take 9 grams each time, grind it into fine powder, mix it with rice vinegar to make a paste, apply it to the Yongquan acupoints of both feet, cover it with gauze, and secure it with adhesive tape. Apply it once each time, it is very effective in treating insomnia.

Take 3 grams of Evodia rutaecarpa (use a small spoon for eating yogurt, a pointed spoonful), and mix it into a paste with good vinegar. Divide it into two parts and stick them on the sole of the foot (Yongquan acupoint) and stick them with adhesive tape. Change the dressing every three days. Cold feet are caused by the failure of Qi and blood to flow downward. While nourishing the spleen and stomach to strengthen Qi and blood, you should also open up the meridians to allow Qi and blood to flow downward. It is often used together with ginger, ginseng, etc. to treat Jueyin headache, dry retching and salivation, white tongue coating and slow pulse, such as Evodia rutaecarpa Decoction (Treatise on Febrile Diseases); it is often used with fennel, Chuanlianzi, costus root, etc. to treat abdominal pain caused by cold hernia, such as Daoqi Decoction (Medical Prescriptions Simple Meaning); it is used together with cinnamon twig, angelica, Chuanxiong, etc. to treat dysmenorrhea caused by Chong and Ren deficiency cold and blood stasis, such as Wenjing Decoction (Golden Chamber Synopsis); it is used with papaya, perilla leaf, betel nut, etc. to treat swelling and pain caused by cold and damp athlete's foot, or it may rush up into the abdomen, such as Jiming Powder.
