Many people pay more attention to the use of traditional Chinese medicine in their daily lives. Now everyone trusts Chinese medicine more. In the field of traditional Chinese medicine, there are many different main therapeutic effects. First of all, Chinese medicine can promote bowel movements and urination, and it can also have a good regulating effect on tuberculosis and colds and fevers, especially the more common Chinese medicine herb Ligusticum chuanxiong, which is the main treatment for these conditions. 1. Functions and indications Clears away heat and detoxifies, promotes diuresis and reduces swelling. Used for hot flashes caused by pulmonary tuberculosis, gastroenteritis, dysentery, fever caused by cold, difficulty urinating, pyelonephritis, acute nephritis, cystitis, and urinary tract stones; used externally to treat carbuncles, boils, eczema, and snake bites. "Bie Lu": "It can treat blood stasis and stop the overflow of semen and excessive qi. " "Tang Materia Medica": "It cures five types of stranguria, promotes urination, stops watery dysentery, eliminates malaria, treats deficiency-heat and thirst, and can be taken as boiled or raw juice." "Compendium of Materia Medica" says: "It is used to treat fever after sweating caused by cold. Grind it into powder and drink one cup of raw juice." "Compendium of Materia Medica": "It nourishes the three burners, digests the five grains, benefits the five internal organs, removes nine insects, prevents fever and epidemics, and is used to treat snake and scorpion wounds." "Anhui Medicinal Materials": "Treat insomnia; wash hemorrhoids. " 2. Pharmacological effects Antibacterial effect. The ethanol extracts of stems and leaves have a significant inhibitory effect on Gram-positive bacteria in liquid test tubes. Lupulone and osmochlor have significant inhibitory effects on Gram-positive bacteria such as Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus faecalis, Streptococcus pneumoniae, Corynebacterium diphtheriae, Bacillus anthracis, Bacillus subtilis and Bacillus cereus in vitro. The antibacterial concentration of lupulone is between 1:100000 and 1:1000000, and the antibacterial effect of fennel is weaker. The inhibitory concentration of lupulone against Mycobacterium tuberculosis in vitro is 25pg/ml. For mice infected with Mycobacterium tuberculosis H37Rvihvnu, intramuscular injection or oral administration of lupulone for 30 consecutive days can significantly reduce the number of acid-fast bacilli in the lesions of organs such as the liver, heart, lungs and spleen of infected mice. The inhibitory effects of lupulone and fennel on Gram-negative bacteria, yeasts and fungi are weak or ineffective. Other functions. Glyoxaline has a dinitrophenol-like effect on cats. After intravenous injection of 3 mg/kg, oxygen consumption can immediately increase by 100%, and shortness of breath will occur, followed by a rise in body temperature. Death can be caused by excessive increase in body temperature (45°C). Large-scale injection can also cause diabetes and hematuria. The effect on rabbits is much weaker than that on cats. |
