This thing that sprouts in spring is worth a fortune and can save lives at critical moments!

Spring is here, and it can be said that every field and farmland is a treasure. Today I want to talk to you about something, willow leaves. When spring comes, willows sprout, but don’t forget that this is a rare and cheap medicine. So what diseases can willow leaves treat?

1. Treat prostate problems

In the past, there was a shortage of medical care and medicine in rural areas, and village doctors knew that people had little money, so they tried their best to prescribe medicines that were cheap and effective. Among them, willow leaves are often used for prostate problems. In daily life, the urine will appear turbid and white. The cold cells and kidney damage will cause the urine to be white and turbid. This is also called white discharge, which is actually one of the signs of chronic prostatitis.

2. Diuretic

In spring, country doctors usually prescribe a recipe of willow leaves, asking people to boil willow leaves in water and drink it as tea. What is the reason for this? It is recorded in medical books that fresh willow leaves are bitter, cold and non-toxic, and have the effects of clearing away heat, relieving rash, and promoting diuresis and detoxification. Therefore, there is a saying that willow leaves can be boiled into a decoction instead of tea during the Qingming Festival, and the cure rate is the limit.

3. Treatment of burns

At that time, in the spring, we would pick some fresh willow leaf stems, dry them in the shade, grind them into powder, and put them in small jars. If someone in the family was scalded by boiling water, the adults would use lard or honey, mix it with the willow leaf powder, and then apply it to the scalded area. The effect was very good. This is mainly because willow leaves contain anti-inflammatory ingredients, and willow leaf injections have even been developed.

4. Treatment of goiter

In addition, willow leaves have another great treasure, which is that they can cure goiter. In the past, a lot of salt was not iodized. Eating it for a long time would lead to iodine deficiency and hyperthyroidism, which we call goiter. Chinese medicine can cure it by giving willow leaves. Willow leaves are rich in iodine. Each kilogram of fresh willow leaves contains 10 mg of iodine, which is thousands of times higher than that in ordinary food.

5. Treat turbid urine

During the Qingming Festival, boil willow leaves in water and drink it instead of tea, until you feel better.

6. Treat boils and mastitis

Chop the willow leaves and boil them until they are soft. Filter and remove the residue. Concentrate them into a syrup and set aside for external application.

7. Treat diarrhea and then make pickled fish water, which is also dangerous

Take the decoction of willow leaves, if the condition stops, the patient can be cured. The onset of the disease can be cured by consuming pickled fish water within a few days. It is difficult to cure for the elderly.

8. Treat itchy and falling eyebrows

Willow leaves, dried in the shade, pounded into powder, and mixed with ginger juice in a cast iron container. Apply it at night, and gradually rub it with your hands until it becomes warm.

9. Treating malignant ulcers that cannot be identified

Boil willow leaves until they are peeled, then wash them; you can also add a little salt. This can also treat facial sores.

10. Treat children's pain and restlessness

One pound of willow leaves. Boil one dou of water and take out three liters. Remove the residue and wash the red parts. Do this seven to eight times a day.
