Living in the countryside, I often find some strange plants in the wild and in the forests. I remember when I was a child, I often followed my grandfather to herd cattle at the foot of the mountain. My grandfather was a rural Chinese medicine doctor. He would pick some common Chinese medicinal herbs in the surrounding area and dry them. After drying, they were stored in wooden barrels and boxes with lime to prevent moisture and insects. I just dug up some plants and flowers at the foot of the mountain. If I saw anything nice, I would take it home with its roots and soil, and then plant it myself. Later I found out that my grandfather used the leaves of the plants I planted to make tea. I asked curiously, and later learned that this grass is called stirrup grass. My grandfather is an alcoholic who can't live without alcohol every day. He has mild hepatitis. Soaking stirrup grass in water can cure hepatitis, pharyngitis and uterine bleeding. The reason I mentioned stirrup grass today is mainly because of feedback from a pharyngitis patient. Shortly before the start of school, I received a call for help from a teacher named Tang. Teacher Tang's voice is not high or loud enough, and his voice is low when he lectures, so the students at the back can't hear him clearly. In order to take care of the students at the back, he has to raise his voice. In the short term, his throat can bear it, but it will definitely be bad for his throat in the long run. In addition, Teacher Tang has the habit of smoking, so he developed pharyngitis. After taking many medicines but to no avail, not long after school started, the weather in the north turned cooler and Teacher Tang's pharyngitis relapsed. I suggested that Teacher Tang make tea with stirrup grass and Dendrobium candidum. After drinking it for a week, Teacher Tang told me that her pharyngitis had improved greatly and her throat no longer hurt or itched. Pharyngitis is not a disease, but recurrences in spring and autumn can be fatal. It is best to treat it early, the sooner you get better, the sooner you will feel relieved. Taking this opportunity, I would like to share the usage of stirrup grass: Stirrup grass is also called bridge grass. It generally grows on rocks at the foot of the mountain. It is a gregarious plant. If you find one, you can find a clump of it nearby. The rhizome of stirrup grass is relatively short. It takes root on the ground and produces new plants. The leaves on the top are like a bridge, hence the name bridge grass. [Stirrup grass] According to the "Henan Chinese Herbal Medicine Handbook", stirrup grass has the effects of anti-inflammatory, hemostasis and detoxification. [Usage] It can be taken orally or used externally. 【Prescription】 Treatment of hepatitis: It is recommended to use boiling water to soak stirrup grass as tea for a long time, which has the effect of assisting in the treatment of hepatitis. Treatment of pharyngitis: Soak 5 grams of Stirrup Grass and 2-3 grams of Dendrobium candidum in boiling water and drink it about 3 cups a day. It will take effect in a week. External use for hemostasis: Mash the stirrup grass and apply it to the wound to stop bleeding. To treat uterine bleeding: decoct 3-7 leaves of stirrup grass in water, add beaten eggs after boiling and drink as tea. For mild patients, take it once a day, and for severe patients, take it twice a day. Or directly use five pieces of stirrup grass, mash them and drink with boiling water. Early lung cancer: Patients with early lung cancer can crush about 5 pieces of stirrup grass leaves and soak them in water to drink every day, and take the crushed powder together. The disease can be cured in more than three months. |
