【Usage and Dosage】:

① "Bencao Jing Jizhu": Qinjiao is the messenger. It is incompatible with Coptis chinensis, Scutellaria baicalensis, and Rhizoma Cibotii Kills the toxicity of Pinellia ternata and Scopolamine.

② "Bencao Jingshu": Long-term use will damage the yin and hurt the eyes. Warms the middle and dispels cold; restores Yang and unclogs meridians; warms the lungs and transforms fluid. It is used to treat cold pain in the abdomen; vomiting; diarrhea, loss of yang, syncope and reversal of the reverse direction; cough and wheezing due to cold phlegm and dampness; and pain caused by arthralgia due to cold and dampness. Dried ginger warms the middle and dispels cold, restores yang and unclogs the meridians, dries up dampness and eliminates phlegm. It is used for cold pain in the abdomen, vomiting and diarrhea, cold limbs and weak pulse, and cough with phlegm and fluid.

① "Ben Jing": It is used to treat chest fullness, cough, shortness of breath, warm the middle, stop bleeding, sweat, expel rheumatism, and treat intestinal dysentery. The living are especially good.

② "Bielu": Treats abdominal pain caused by cold, nausea, cholera, bloating, wind evil and various poisons, gas accumulation between the skin, and stops spitting blood.

③ "Materia Medica": Treats pain and coldness in the waist and kidneys, cold air, breaks blood, removes wind, unblocks the joints of the limbs, opens up the five internal organs, removes wind poison, cold numbness, and frequent urination at night. It is used to treat cough, warm the middle, treat cholera, abdominal pain, relieve bloating and cold dysentery, and treat blood stasis. ④ "Tang Materia Medica": Treats wind, relieves gas, stops bleeding, dredges the collaterals, and induces slight sweating.

⑤ "Bencao Gangmu" (Bencao Gangmu): It can eliminate phlegm and relieve gas, treat convulsions, vomiting and diarrhea, abdominal cold, nausea and retching, blood stasis, injuries, stop nasal discharge, relieve cold and heat toxins, stimulate appetite, and eliminate food stagnation.

⑥ "The Origin of Medicine": "The Secret of Main Treatments" says that it can promote the flow of heart qi, assist yang, remove deep coldness in the internal organs, and release the coldness in the meridians, and treat abdominal pain caused by cold.

⑦Wang Haogu: It is used to treat coldness and fullness in the lower part of the heart and also for long-term eye problems. After being roasted, it warms the spleen and dries the stomach.

⑧"Introduction to Medicine": Pao ginger warms the spleen and stomach, treats internal cold water diarrhea, dysentery, chronic malaria, cholera; it also treats cold pain and fullness in the heart and abdomen, and stops nosebleeds, spitting blood, bloody dysentery, and metrorrhagia.

⑨ "Pharmaceutical Chemistry": Paojiang can reduce fever due to deficiency of energy.

⑩ "Changsha Yaojie": Drying dampness and warming the middle, relieving depression and lowering turbidity, rushing downward, calming cough, lifting dislocation and stopping diarrhea.
