Can abalone shells be used to make soup?

Can abalone shells be used to make soup?

I believe that people rarely eat abalone shells in their daily lives, mainly because abalone shells are relatively expensive and most families will not eat them. However, the nutritional value of abalone shell is relatively high, and abalone shell can be used to make soup. The soup contains more protein and trace elements, which is helpful for us to supplement calcium and improve intelligence.

Ingredients: 6 abalones (about 300 grams), 300 grams of pork tendon, and some wolfberries.

practice:

1. Remove the internal organs of abalone and clean it. Remove the fascia and fat from the pork tendon, blanch it and clean it for later use;

2. Add 500ml of pure water into the stew pot, add abalone and pork shank;

3. Cover the stewing pot and place it in the large pot with the ingredients added. Stew in water for 2.5 hours. Add appropriate amount of salt when eating.

Tips:

1. The soup needs to be clear. Therefore, ingredients with heavy blood stains should be blanched in advance and then stewed, which will remove the fishy smell and make the soup clear.

2. If you are stewing soup, abalone can be put into the pot together with the ingredients. If you are making soup, add the abalone after the soup is ready to avoid overcooking it.

3. Abalone shell is a very famous Chinese medicine. It can be washed and cooked with other ingredients.

4. Do not throw away the abalone shell after eating it. After washing and drying it, place it in the corners of the kitchen, cabinets and other places where ants and other insects are likely to attract. It can effectively repel insects. I have placed abalone shells everywhere in my house. Not only are there no ants, but there are very few cockroaches as well. I think it has something to do with the abalone shells.

5. If you want to drink the soup and eat the meat, cut the meat into pieces and stew it; if you don’t want to eat it, don’t cut it, so that the meat will not become shapeless during stewing and will be difficult to handle. I usually choose the latter, so that the meat is more complete and can be processed again, such as making century egg and lean meat porridge, or mashed pork with garlic.

From the above introduction that abalone shell can be used for making soup, I believe you should all have a certain understanding of how to use abalone shell for making soup. When we make soup with abalone shells, we need to add some ingredients to remove the fishy smell, so that the soup can become clearer. I hope you can make good use of it.
