5. Treatment of mumps: 30 grams of honeysuckle, 15 grams of forsythia, 15 grams of isatis root, decocted in water and taken orally. Mash the fresh flowers for external application.

6. To treat fever and cough caused by exogenous factors: 30 grams of honeysuckle, 20 grams each of forsythia and mint, decocted in water and taken orally.

7. To treat long-term sores that turn into fistulas: soak honeysuckle vines in wine and drink it regularly.

8. To treat poisonous mushroom poisoning: Take an appropriate amount of fresh tender stems and leaves of honeysuckle, wash them with cold boiled water, chew them finely and drink them.
