The medicinal value of Fritillaria thunbergii

1. "Bencao Congxin": Treats surgical phlegm and poison.

2. "Baicao Jing": It can disperse carbuncle poison, resolve pus and relieve stagnation, resolve toxins in wide sores, eliminate rheumatism, promote phlegm, and be applied to malignant sores to heal the sores.

3. "Shaanxi Chinese Herbal Medicine": Clears away heat, removes fire and reduces swelling. Treat lymphadenopathy, early stage of subacute mastitis, and carbuncle.

Prescriptions for the medicinal value of Fritillaria thunbergii

1. To treat the initial stage of mastitis: take equal parts of white peony root and ground fritillaria. It is a powder, take three grams each time, drink it with hot aged wine, keep warm and induce sweating, and the symptoms will disappear. If the condition is severe, take another dose. If you are a healthy person, take 5 cents each time. 2. Three grams each of white peony root, wild fritillaria, and root of trichosanthes, and one and a half grams of frankincense (except oil). Fry and grind them into powder, mix with pure grain wine and apply it, then take three grams of it with the wine.

2. To treat breast cancer: take Yanghe decoction with 50 cents of Fritillaria thunbergii and soak it in water.

3. To treat broken breast rock: large Fritillaria flowers, walnut kernel barrel, honeysuckle tea. Three grams of lotus and forsythia. Decoction with wine or water.

4. To treat hair loss on the back of hands: 50 cents each of raw licorice and roasted licorice, 2.5 cents each of Sophora flavescens, 5.5 cents each of stir-fried earthworms, 1.5 cents each of Pinellia ternata, 2.5 cents each of nail slices (fried until black), and 2.5 cents each of Anemarrhena asphodeloides. Add onion, ginger, water and wine and fry.

5. To treat leprosy regardless of whether it has broken or not: 500g of Fritillaria thunbergii, 4 liang of artificial leather glue (smash it, stir-fry the oyster powder to make beads, remove the powder and make it into powder). Make pills the size of mung beans. Every morning, noon and evening, use three grams of purple-backed sky blueberry root, or half a coin of algae and kelp, decoct them in water and swallow three grams of pills.

6. To treat leprosy: one liang of artificial leather glue (boiled in water), add five qian of Fritillaria flower powder, spread on tin foil and stick it on the affected area.

7. To treat rat sores: one large crucian carp, one single-child soap bean for each year, two qian of Fritillaria cirrhosa and two qian of Fritillaria thunbergii. Put soapberry seeds and Fritillaria flowers into fish skin, wrap them with yellow mud, bake them over charcoal fire until dry, and grind them into fine powder. Take three grams each time, mix with rice wine after meals, and avoid meat for 100 days.

8. To treat unruptured cervical lymph tuberculosis: decoct 3 grams of Fritillaria thunbergii in water and drink. Alternatively, grind Fritillaria thunbergii into powder and mix with vinegar for external use.

9. To treat scorpion bites: drink a bowl of salad oil immediately to prevent the poison from attacking the heart. Grind four or five cents of Fritillaria thunbergii into powder and take it with hot wine. Drink it all until you are drunk. Lie down for a while. The medicine will take effect and water will spray out of the wound. When the water is gone, apply the Fritillaria thunbergii residue in the bowl to the wound.

10. To treat wounds caused by knife, axe, scissors, gun and arrow: grind Fritillaria thunbergii into powder to invigorate blood circulation and heal the wounds.
