What are the medicinal values of human placenta?

Human placenta is a very nutritious medicinal material, but some people may find it hard to accept it. But in fact, the medicinal value of this medicinal material is very high. The human placenta is rich in immunoglobulins. Generally, after the human body absorbs immunoglobulins, it will convert them into amino acids in the body. For some people who are weak or suffer from certain diseases, human placenta is a very good nutritional supplement. It plays a great role in treating some diseases and can also prevent some diseases.

1. Anti-infection effect

Placental gamma-globulin contains antibodies such as measles and influenza, as well as diphtheria antitoxin, which can be used to prevent or alleviate infectious diseases such as measles. Because it is a protein, it is ineffective when taken orally and must be injected. Placental gamma-globulin also contains interferon, which can be used clinically to prevent or control viral infections. The placenta also contains lysozyme, which can prevent the death of mice caused by enteritis (intraperitoneal injection); it also has a certain protective effect on the damage of endotoxin to rats; but it has no effect on endotoxemia caused by Escherichia coli.

2. Enhance the body's resistance

Oral administration of placenta powder to mice can reduce tuberculosis lesions, and in test tubes it can actually promote the growth of Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Therefore, it is believed that its main effect is to increase the body's resistance. The hydrochloric acid hydrolysis product of the defatted placenta was injected intraperitoneally into rats, and it had a significant inhibitory effect on hepatic fat deposition caused by carbon tetrachloride and ethylthiobutyric acid. Subcutaneous injection of human placenta extract into mice can prolong their swimming time; intramuscular injection into rats also has a certain preventive and therapeutic effect on certain types of experimental ulcers (reserpine-induced, tension-induced, ligation of the lower part of the pylorus, etc.).

One thing to note is that human placenta cannot be eaten casually. It must be taken under the guidance of a doctor. You must know that the human placenta must be healthy and clean, but in fact many placentas carry some viruses in the mother's body, so if you want to eat it, you need to choose a hygienic one.
