After taking it, add 500 grams of white wine to the residue and soak it for 15 days before drinking. 15 ml each time, twice a day. Function: nourish blood and yin, nourish kidney and improve essence. Suitable for deficiency of essence and blood, forgetfulness, hair loss, soreness of waist and knees, etc.

2. Rehmannia glutinosa blood-replenishing soup: 15 grams of Rehmannia glutinosa, 12 grams of Chinese angelica, 10 grams of white peony root, and 15 grams of Millettia reticulata. Wash the above four tonic herbs, add clean water, soak for 2 hours, boil for 40 minutes, take the juice and drink it warm. Add clean water to the residue, boil for 30 minutes, and take the juice. Take 1 dose daily, once in the morning and once in the evening. Function: replenish essence and blood, nourish liver and kidney. It is suitable for palpitations, dizziness, vertigo, amenorrhea, dull complexion, etc. caused by blood deficiency.

3. Erdi paste: 500 grams of cooked rehmannia, 500 grams of dried rehmannia, and 1000 grams of honey. Wash and chop the cooked and dried Rehmannia root, put them into a casserole together, and soak them in clean water for 12 hours. Add water and boil for 3 times, 3 hours for the first time, 2 hours for the second and third times respectively. Filter the medicinal liquid in batches, combine the filtrate, and simmer over low heat until it becomes a paste. Add honey and mix well, then concentrate it into a paste over low heat. Take 15 grams each time, twice a day, dissolved in boiled water. Function: nourishing yin, cooling blood, replenishing blood and producing blood. It is suitable for deficiency of essence and blood, emaciation, soreness in the waist and spine, weak legs, etc.

4. Black-bone chicken stewed with Rehmannia root

Ingredients: 25g Rehmannia root, 1 black chicken, 100g lean pork, 3 slices of ginger.

Preparation: Kill and clean the black chicken, remove the organs and tail; wash the lean pork. Put them together with Rehmannia root and ginger in a stewing pot, add 1500 ml (about 6 bowls) of cold boiled water, cover and stew for 2.5 hours. For 3~4 people.

5. Radix Angelicae Pubescentis Lamb Soup

Raw materials: 15g angelica, 20g Codonopsis, 15g Rehmannia, 20g ginger, 300g mutton

Preparation method:

Soak and wash angelica, rehmannia and codonopsis in water, slice the ginger; cut the mutton into pieces, boil it in boiling water for a while, then wash and blanch it. Put all the ingredients, medicinal materials and ginger into a clay pot, add appropriate amount of water, boil over high heat, then simmer over low heat for 1.5 hours, add appropriate amount of salt and it is ready to eat.
