Very thick, anthers linear, dark brown, 2-lobed; ovary 3-chambered, nearly round, style linear, stigma inconspicuously 3-lobed. The berries are oval, blue-purple and smooth; the seeds are black. Flowering period is from June to August. Fruiting period is from July to September.
