[Source] Medicinal material source: The algae of the plant Moss Oleraceae.

[Original morphology] The algae are filamentous, dark green, 1-2mm high, densely clustered, velvety and slimy. The filamentous algae has a diameter of 10-40 μm in the middle, slightly swollen at the base, a sheath thickness of 6-10 μm, and is colorless to slightly yellowish brown. When the algal filaments become thinner and hair-like, their diameter is 10-20 μm. The cells are uniseriate, 2-3 μm long. There are heteromorphic cells at the base.
