【Other Names】 Wanjingke, Tieshicha, White Mirror

[Source] Rhododendron micranthum Turcz., a plant of the genus Rhododendron in the family Ericaceae, is used as medicine with its branches and leaves . Harvest in summer and autumn and sun-dried.

【Nature and flavor】 Sour, spicy, warm. Very poisonous.

[Functions and indications] Dispel wind and dredge meridians, regulate menstruation and relieve pain, resolve phlegm and relieve cough. Used for chronic bronchitis, rheumatic pain, low back pain, dysmenorrhea, and postpartum joint pain.

【Usage and Dosage】 1 to 1.5 cents.

[Remarks] (1) It is reported that the branches and leaves of Rhododendron sibiricum are poisonous. Those collected in spring are about 10 times more toxic than those collected in autumn.
