【Nature and flavor】 Sweet, neutral.

【Functions and indications】 Clears away heat and promotes diuresis, disperses blood stasis and stops bleeding, relaxes muscles and activates collaterals. Used for upper respiratory tract infection, hepatitis, dysentery, urinary tract infection, epistaxis, hemoptysis, hematemesis, bloody stool, athlete's foot edema, rheumatic bone pain, urticaria, hemiplegia, numbness of hands and feet, and bruises; used externally to treat traumatic bleeding, fractures, sores, and leg ulcers.
