【Functions and indications】 Clears away heat and detoxifies, promotes diuresis, and eliminates accumulation. Used for acute conjunctivitis, jaundice, edema, leucorrhea, infantile malnutrition, ascariasis; used externally to treat carbuncles, furunculosis and swelling.

[Usage and Dosage] 0.5-1 liang; for external use, mash an appropriate amount and apply to the affected area.
