The racemes are axillary, up to 15 cm long; the pedicels are slender; the calyx is cup-shaped, 5-lobed, the calyx teeth are broadly triangular, with sparse white soft hairs; the corolla is butterfly-shaped, light red, about 15 mm long, and the standard petal is densely covered with short hairs. The pods are straight, linear, about 4 cm long, and brown-black. Many seeds. Flowering period is summer.
