Leaf blade is firm papery, oblanceolate or oblanceolate, narrowly oblong-rounded, apex acuminate or nearly caudate-acuminate, base broadly cuneate, 11-13cm long, 2-3cm wide, entire or with fine wavy teeth, with marginal glandular dots between teeth, abaxially pubescent with curled sparse hairs or more or less sparse hairs with dense glandular dots, lateral veins about 15 pairs, not forming marginal veins; petiole 5-8mm long, usually pubescent. Compound umbels, borne on the top of lateral special branches, branches 20-40cm long; pedicels 1-1.5cm long, usually pubescent; flowers 6-8mm long, calyx base fused to 1/2 or slightly shorter, sepals ovate or sometimes nearly oblong, 2.5-3mm long, more or less pubescent on the outside, entire, with dense glandular dots; petals nearly white or pink to red, broadly ovate, with dense glandular dots, pubescent near the base inside; stamens 2/3 of the length of petals, anthers ovate or broadly lanceolate, with dense glandular dots on the back; pistil equal to petals, ovary spherical, with glandular dots, 5 ovules, 1 whorl. Fruit spherical, about 8mm in diameter, bright red, with glandular dots. Flowering period: April-May, fruiting period: November-December.
