[Source] It is the bark of Cinnamomum zeylanicum B1., a plant of the Lauraceae family . Peel in autumn and dry in the shade.

[Original form] Evergreen tree, up to 10m in height. Young branches are slightly quadrangular, gray with white spots. The leaves are leathery or nearly leathery, usually opposite, ovate or ovate-lanceolate, and honeycomb-shaped underneath; the petioles are 2 cm long and glabrous. Inflorescence axillary or terminal, 10-20 cm long, covered with silky hairs; flowers yellow, about 6 mm long, perianth lobes covered with gray pubescence on the outside. The fruit is ovate, 1 to 1.5 cm long, black, cup-shaped, with 6 teeth, and the tooth ends are truncated or acute. The flowering period is from January to March, and the fruiting period is from August to September.

[Habitat distribution] It grows in tropical humid areas below 1000m above sea level. It is cultivated in Hainan, Fujian and Taiwan in my country.
