My hairline is gradually moving back. Am I facing a "hair loss crisis"?

Hair loss has always been a headache for young and middle-aged people. Young people are prone to receding hairlines, while middle-aged people are prone to baldness on the top of their heads, commonly known as Mediterranean hair loss. Let me feel how many hairs I have left... Normal people usually lose about 60 hairs a day. If the number of hairs lost exceeds 100, it is what we call "hair loss" in our daily life. If this continues for a long time, it will cause thinning of hair.

The receding hairline is caused by congenital factors or hair loss. According to the golden ratio, the ideal forehead height is one-third of the facial length. If the hairline continues to recede, it will raise our forehead and affect the overall beauty of the face.

Mediterranean hair loss is more common in men.

In fact, Mediterranean alopecia is seborrheic alopecia. Patients with Mediterranean alopecia will have more oil on their scalp, their hair will gradually move upwards, the hair on the top of the head will become less and less, and the scalp may even be exposed.

Frequent consumption of high-oil and high-fat foods, environmental and chemical shampoo pollution, excessive perming and hair dyeing damage, etc. will cause an imbalance in the scalp's nutrient supply and deteriorate the head's ecological environment, thereby hindering the hair roots from absorbing nutrients and causing hair loss and gray hair.

There are many types of hair loss, including androgenic alopecia, neurotic alopecia, endocrine alopecia, nutritional alopecia, physical alopecia, chemical alopecia, symptomatic alopecia, congenital alopecia and seasonal alopecia.

It can be seen that hair protection is a big science.

Patients with chemical hair loss should not use highly irritating or inferior hair dyes or perms; patients with physical hair loss should not use plastic combs and brushes that easily generate static electricity; patients with nutritional hair loss should eat more fruits and vegetables, kelp, etc.; patients with obese hair loss should eat less greasy food; no matter what kind of hair loss, there is always a way to treat it, as long as the right medicine is used.

Hair loss is divided into eight levels based on severity and hair volume:

The hairline of first-grade hair loss is normal, as long as you maintain a regular work and rest schedule, ensure nutritional supply and persist in exercise;

The secondary hairline moves back, the forehead is slightly higher, and the hairline recedes slightly;

The third-level hairline loss gradually becomes obvious;

Level 4: The forehead is obviously raised, the top of the head is sparse, and there are some fine and soft hairs;

Level 5: The entire forehead and head whorl area loses hair, forming a broken band in the middle, and the area of hair loss is large;

Level 6: The forehead area is basically detached, and the top of the head has a more obvious tendency to expand backwards;

Level 7: The only hair left is the back of the head and a circle around the ears.

Level 8: The hair from the forehead to the top of the head falls out completely, resulting in total baldness.

Staying up late will accelerate the secretion of scalp oil and aggravate hair loss. We should try to avoid staying up late, maintain a regular work and rest schedule, keep a good mood, and learn to release emotions and stress. At the same time, insist on exercising, which can accelerate blood circulation and help prevent hair loss.

Remember to eat less spicy, sweet, and fried foods, as these foods can increase the body's dampness and heat and accelerate hair loss. Eat more foods rich in protein and vitamins, and use a wooden comb or horn comb to massage your scalp more often, but don't pull it hard, otherwise it will cause great damage to your scalp.

The last point is to wash your hair frequently, three times a week is appropriate, or once every other day, keep your hair clean, prevent bacteria from growing, and start by protecting the hair roots. This will help prevent hair loss.
