Landslide in Guizhou has caused 10 deaths and 4 missing! How to save yourself when encountering a landslide?

At around 19:00 on January 3, 2022, a landslide occurred at a construction site in Xiangtian Community, Guihua Street, Jinhai Lake New District, Bijie City, Guizhou Province.

As of 12:00 on January 4, more than 1,000 rescue forces from all parties have been deployed. With the concerted efforts of emergency, fire, health, public security and other departments, more than 20,000 cubic meters of earth have been cleared at the scene, and 13 trapped people have been rescued, 10 of whom have no vital signs and 3 are injured. The injured have been sent to the hospital for emergency treatment as soon as possible, and their vital signs are stable. There are still 4 people missing. Rescue and follow-up work is still being carried out intensively.

After the accident, the Guizhou Provincial Fire Rescue Corps quickly mobilized firefighting forces and emergency equipment from Guiyang, Liupanshui and other places to participate in the rescue.
