The flowers are bisexual, with axillary panicles, 10-15cm long and pubescent; the calyx is 5-lobed and pubescent on the outside; the petals are 5, white to light yellow, narrowly oblong, slightly pointed at the apex, and covered with sparse, closely attached pubescence on the outside; the stamens are 10, and the filaments are fused into a short tube; the ovary is spherical and glabrous. The drupe is spherical, slightly fleshy, dark red to purple-black when ripe, and has 5 ribs and 5 chambers when dry, with a diameter of about 5 mm. The flowering period is from April to November, and the fruiting period is from April to December.
