[Clinical Application] Treatment of chronic bronchitis: Use 8 liang of fresh Paulownia fruit, decoct in water and remove the residue, concentrate into a liquid paste for one day, divided into 3 doses, 10 days as a course of treatment. 1,341 cases were treated, with an effective rate of 81%; among them, the clinical control rate was 7% and the marked effect rate was 25%. If combined with Stemona japonica, Platycodon grandiflorum, Green fruit and pig bile to form a compound treatment, the therapeutic effect will be improved. This product has certain effects on cough, sputum, asthma, and reducing lung rales, and its effects on relieving cough and reducing phlegm are more obvious and the effects are quick, sometimes taking effect within 1 day. The main side effects are nausea, dizziness, abdominal pain, diarrhea, dry nasopharynx, etc., which usually disappear on their own after 3 to 4 days. No adverse effects on liver and kidney function were found.
