[Original form] Perennial herb, 50 to 100 cm tall. The stem is erect and has short hairs all over. The leaves at the base are carved and fall off after flowering; the leaves on the stem are ovate-elliptical or elliptical, 4-6 cm long, 1.5-2 cm wide, with pointed or obtuse tips, bases extending downward into short petioles or nearly sessile, with serrations of varying depths on the edges, and hairy underneath. The capitula is arranged in a corymbose shape, with stalks and a diameter of about 1.5 cm; the involucre is bell-shaped, with 3 rows of bracts, hairy, the outer row is shorter and elliptic, the inner row is longer and linear; there is 1 row of ligulate flowers, white, female, with ligules about 7 mm long and tubes about 2.5 mm long; the tubular flowers are yellow, bisexual, about 6 mm long, with 5 stamens, anthers obtuse and entire at the base, ovary inferior, stigma, 2-lobed. Achenes hairy; pappus brownish yellow. Flowering period is autumn.

[Habitat distribution] Distributed in East China, Southwest China and other places.
