The pedicel is flat, solid, and 30-80cm high; the spathe-like bracts are 5-8cm long and very broad at the base; there are 3-8 flowers at the top of the pedicel; the flowers are white and sessile; the perianth tube is cylindrical, slender, and of varying lengths, with the longest reaching more than 10cm; the perianth lobes are linear, usually shorter than the perianth tube; the stamens are attached to the throat of the perianth tube, and the base of the filaments is fused into a cup-shaped body (stamen cup), which is bell-shaped or broadly funnel-shaped, about 2.5cm long, with teeth, the separated part of the filaments is 3-5cm long, and the anthers are T-shaped; the ovary is inferior, 3-chambered, and the style is about the same length as the stamens or longer.
