[Original form] Pseudoindigofera flexuosa is a perennial herb, about 1m tall. The stem is erect, the branches are thin, zigzag-shaped, often alternate, with axillary inflorescences on the opposite side, and the unequal leaves are very obvious. Leaves opposite; petiole short or upper leaves nearly sessile; leaf blade ovate to ovate-lanceolate, 1-13cm long, 0.5-5cm wide, acuminate at apex, nearly rounded at base, or slightly cordate at upper part of stem, with serrated margins; lateral veins about 5 on each side. The spike inflorescence is terminal and axillary, often zigzag; bracts are opposite, but only one has a flower in the axil, linear-lanceolate, shorter than the calyx, with 1 vein; bracteoles are close to the calyx; the calyx is deeply 5-lobed, with the lobes about 1 cm long; the corolla is cylindrical, lavender or white, 3.5-4.5 cm long. The outside is covered with inverted soft hairs, and the lobes are nearly round; there are 4 stamens, 2 long and 2 short, straight and hidden, and the filaments are wing-shaped on both sides; the reduced stamens are tiny. The capsule is linear-oblong, flattened on both sides, and about 1.8 cm long. Seeds oval. Flowering period is November.
