[Original form] Pinnate-leaved, long-stalked mountain leech, a small shrub, 1-1.5m tall. The branches are ridged and nearly glabrous. The petiole is about 6 cm long; the leaves are odd-pinnate compound leaves, up to 25 cm long; the leaflets are 5-7, lanceolate or oblong-lanceolate, 4-10 cm long, 2-4 cm wide, acuminate at the apex, cuneate at the base, and sparsely pubescent on both sides. The panicle is terminal and loose, with the axis of the inflorescence densely covered with yellow short soft hairs; the calyx is bell-shaped, about 2.5mm long, and the calyx teeth are triangular; the corolla is pink, about 7mm long; there are 10 stamens, each monomeric; the ovary is stalked. The pods are 2-3cm long, with 2 nodes, which are semi-rhombus-shaped, about 1cm long and 5mm wide; the fruit stalks are 6-8mm long. The flowering period is August-September, and the fruiting period is October-November.
