Leaves are distal; petiole 10-20cm long, straw-colored, shiny, base densely covered with jointed scales; leaf blade oblong-ovate to triangular, 12-30cm long, 10-20cm wide, sparsely covered with multicellular hairs on both sides, denser on the midrib, odd-pinnate; pinnae 3-6 pairs, opposite, lanceolate, base pair larger, 8-12m long, 2-2.5cm wide, apex long tail-like acuminate, base mostly heart-shaped, lower auricle often covers the rachis, entire, margin membranous, terminal pinna with petiole about 1cm long, base rounded; lateral veins obvious on both sides, obliquely spreading, veinlets reticulate, internal veinlets forked. The sori are small, round, and arranged in 2 rows between each pair of lateral veins, and in 3-4 rows between the midrib and the leaf margin.
