[Source] Medicinal material source: the whole herb of the leguminous plant Dexicornis round-knotted.

[Original form] Round-knotted mountain leech herb, about 50m tall. Stems slender, glabrous, woody at base. Petiole 1.4-1.8cm long; 1 leaflet, nearly reniform or flat rhombus, 1.7-3.4cm long, 3-5.5cm wide, nearly truncated at the apex, cuneate at the base, shallowly peltate, and glabrous. The racemes are axillary and the panicles are terminal; the pedicels are 8-12mm long, growing to 15mm when fruiting; the flowers are purple, about 5mm long; the calyx is about 2mm long, with triangular calyx teeth; there are 10 stamens, dissociated. The pods are 12-21mm long, about 4mm wide, glabrous, with a slightly constricted ventral suture and a deeply split dorsal suture. The lobes are semicircular and have 2-4 nodes. The fruit stalk is 2-3mm long. Flowering period is October-November.

[Habitat distribution] Ecological environment: Grown under mountain forests or on the edge of forests.

【Properties】 Mostly tangled into balls. The stem is slender. Single leaf, reniform or flat rhombus, truncated at apex, broadly cuneate at base, entire or slightly wavy, 1.7-3.5cm long, 3-5.5cm wide; withered green; petiole slender, 1.4-1.8cm long. Inflorescence paniculate or racemose, pedicels thin, 8-12mm long. The pods are 12-20 mm long, 4 mm wide, smooth, with a slightly constricted ventral suture and a deeply fissured dorsal suture, with 2-4 nodes. The air is weak.
