【Nature and flavor】 Bitter, sweet, cold.

【Functions and indications】 Clears away heat, promotes diuresis, cools blood and detoxifies. Used for Japanese encephalitis, early stage influenza, and hemoptysis due to pulmonary tuberculosis. Used externally to treat eczema, herpes zoster, furuncle, snake bites, and epidemic hemorrhagic conjunctivitis.

[Usage and Dosage] 1 to 2 taels of fresh product. For external use, take the juice from the whole fresh herb and apply it externally, or mash it and mix it with honey for external application. To treat eye diseases, use eye drops 3 to 4 times a day.
