[Original form] Herbaceous, 15-40cm high. Stem erect, 3-9-branched, densely covered with purple warts at lower part. Leaves are alternate; petioles are about 1mm long; stipules are extremely small and triangular; leaf blades are oblong-ovate, 1.2-2.7cm long, 7-14mm wide, with acute or acuminate tips, asymmetrical bases, and linear stalactites on both sides, obvious on the upper side, and densely grown. Dioecious; inflorescence axillary, almost sessile, nearly spherical; male inflorescence with 1-6 flowers, 4 tepals, 4 stamens, without reduced ovary; female flower with 4 tepals, very small, with 4 reduced stamens. Achenes with short stalks, oblong-obovate, mid-rib filiform.

[Habitat distribution] Ecological environment: Grown in shady and wet places beside mountain valleys.
