[Source] Aglaia odorata Lour., a plant of the genus Aglaia in the Meliaceae family, is used as medicine using its branches, leaves and flowers . The flowers are collected and dried when they bloom in summer.

[Nature and flavor] Branches and leaves: spicy, slightly warm.

[Functions and indications] Branches and leaves: promote blood circulation, relieve blood stasis, reduce swelling and relieve pain. Used for traumatic fractures, and carbuncles.

[Usage and Dosage] 3-4 qian of branches and leaves, decocted in water and taken orally. Mash the fresh leaves, stir-fry with wine and apply externally. Take 1 to 3 cents of the flower and decoct it in water.
