[Source] Medicinal material source: The leafy stems and branches of the parasitic plant Pyrus ovalifolia of the Morus alba family.

【Original form】 Shrub, about 1m high. The young branches, leaves, inflorescences and flowers are densely covered with rusty overlapping stellate hairs and stellate hairs; the branchlets are gray, glabrous, and have lenticels. Leaves are opposite or nearly opposite, leathery; petiole 6-12mm long, hairy; leaf blade ovate, ovate or oblong, 6-11cm long, 4-7cm wide, apex obtuse, sometimes obtuse, base rounded, sometimes shallowly cordate, glabrous above, stellate hairy or glabrous beneath, lateral veins 4-5 pairs, obvious above. Inflorescence raceme, 2-3 cells or born in the axils of fallen leaves of twigs, peduncle and axis of inflorescence 1-2.5cm long, with 7-14 flowers; flowers reddish brown or yellowish brown; pedicel 1-2mm long; bracts ovate, receptacle gyroid, about 3mm long; sub-equal ring-shaped, entire; corolla tubular in bud, 1-1.3cm long, slightly swollen in the lower half, ovoid at the top, 4-lobed at the top when flowering, lobes nearly spoon-shaped, 3-5mm long, reflexed; style linear, stigma nearly capitate. The berry is pear-shaped, yellow, 9-10 mm long, about 3 mm in diameter, and the pericarp is covered with stellate hairs. The flowering period is from September to April of the following year.

[Habitat distribution] Ecological environment: Grown in low mountains or mountain evergreen broad-leaved forests at an altitude of 90-1100m, parasitic on plants such as oil tea, tung oil tree, pineapple, white rice tree, Pu'er tea, etc.
