【Original form】 Shrub, about 1m high. The young branches, leaves, inflorescences and flowers are densely covered with rusty overlapping stellate hairs and stellate hairs; the branchlets are gray, glabrous, and have lenticels. Leaves are opposite or nearly opposite, leathery; petiole 6-12mm long, hairy; leaf blade ovate, ovate or oblong, 6-11cm long, 4-7cm wide, apex obtuse, sometimes obtuse, base rounded, sometimes shallowly cordate, glabrous above, stellate hairy or glabrous beneath, lateral veins 4-5 pairs, obvious above.
