The racemes or panicles are clustered at the top of the branches, up to 20 cm long; the bracts are linear-lanceolate, about 1 cm long; the calyx is white, bell-shaped, 5-lobed, about 6 mm long, densely covered with stellate short soft hairs on the outside, the lobes are triangular, acuminate at the apex and adhered to each other, and the same length as the campanulate calyx tube; the androgynophore of the male flower is linear, colorless, with 10-20 anthers in a head; the ovary of the female flower is spherical, 5-chambered, densely covered with short fuzzy flowers, the style is short, the stigma is 5-lobed, and the sterile anthers are located at the bottom of the ovary, surrounding the pistil. The follicles are reddish brown, oblong-elliptical and slightly sickle-shaped, 4-9cm long, 2-4cm wide, obtuse at the apex, densely covered with fine hairs and bristles on the outside, short stellate hairs on the inside, and densely hairy on the edges.
