[Source] Medicinal material source: The leafy stems and branches of the plant Morus alba of the Loranthaceae family.

【Original form】 Shrub, 0.5-lm high. The whole plant is hairless. Leaves are opposite, papery or leathery; petiole 0.5-1cm long; leaf blade ovate to oblong, 5-10m long, 2.5-3.5cm wide, obtuse or blunt at the apex, broadly cuneate at the base, slightly decurrent. Inflorescence spikes, 1-3, axillary, 1-4m long, with 8-16 flowers; flowers are 6-somere, unisexual, yellow-green. Dioecious; male flower bracts are shaped, about 0.5mm long, receptacle is bell-shaped, about 1mm long, and epicalyx is annular; corolla buds are club-shaped, 4-5mm long, anthers are nearly spherical, 4-chambered, and the style of the sterile pistil is slender or columnar, acuminate or shallowly 2-lobed at the apex; female flower corolla buds are columnar, 2.5-3mm long; style has 6 ridges, and stigma is capitate. The berries are oval or ovoid, about 5mm long and 4mm in diameter, light yellow, with smooth skin. The flowering period is from January to March, and the fruiting period is from September to October.

[Habitat distribution] Ecological environment: Grown in valleys and mountain evergreen broad-leaved forests at an altitude of 200-3000m. Often parasitic on Fagaceae plants, rarely on Yunnan fir, pear trees, etc.

【Functions and indications】Relieve rheumatism; nourish the liver and kidneys; strengthen bones. Mainly used for rheumatic arthralgia; waist and knee pain; fractures
