[Original form] Lavender, semi-shrub or dwarf shrub. The stem is branched and covered with stellate hairs, which are denser in the young parts; the old branches are dark brown, with the cortex peeling off in strips, with long flower branches and short renewal stalks. The leaves are linear or lanceolate. The leaves on the flowering branches are larger, 3-5cm long and 0.3-0.5cm wide, covered with dense or sparse gray stellate hairs. The leaves on the renewal branches are smaller, clustered, no more than 1.7cm long and about 0.2cm wide, densely covered with grayish-white stellate hairs, all with obtuse tips, gradually narrowed at the base into a very short petiole, entire, and rolled at the edges. : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : Nutlets 4, smooth.
