The raceme has 3-8 flowers; the flowers are drooping at first and then gradually erect; the corolla is tubular-bell-shaped, 1-1.5cm long and 0.5-0.8cm in diameter; the bracts are ovate-oblong or ovate-lanceolate, 10-16mm long and 4-7mm wide; the sepals are oblong-ovate, 7-10mm long and 2.5-3.5mm wide, with acute apex and fall off early; there are 4-5 petals. Oblong or obovate-oblong, 12-14mm long, 4.5-6mm wide, obtuse at apex, with irregular serrations on the upper part, caducous early; 8-10 stamens, shorter than corolla, anthers orange-yellow, filaments glabrous; ovary glabrous, 4-5-chambered, style erect, 2.5-4 (-5) mm long, stigma swollen into a funnel shape, 4-5 round fissures. The capsule is ellipsoidal-spherical, 7-10mm long and 5-7mm in diameter. The flowering period is June to July (-August), and the fruiting period is July to August (-September).
