Flowers: 4-6 in clusters on short branches, solitary, axillary; peduncle about 15mm long, densely pubescent; flowers pink, 1.5cm in diameter; pedicel 2-3mm long, densely pubescent; sepals 5, densely pubescent on the outside; petals 5, with inconspicuous scales at the base; stamens numerous, in 3 bundles, filaments long, free, equal in length to the stamen fascicle, each with 20-30 anthers, connective without glands, fused at the base; inferior fleshy glands tongue-shaped; ovary superior, 3-chambered, styles 3, diverging from the base, nearly equal in length to the ovary. The capsule is oval, dark brown, glabrous, 8-12 mm long, and has a persistent calyx. There are 6-8 seeds in each locule, with a narrow claw-shaped base, asymmetrical, and winged on one side. The flowering period is June-July, and the fruiting period is August-September. [Habitat distribution] Ecological environment: Grown in sparse forests in mountains.
