[Source] It is the vine or root of the Magnoliaceae plant , Magnoliaceae . It can be harvested throughout the year and used fresh or dried.

[Habitat distribution] It grows in sparse woods on hillsides and moist places beside ditches. Distributed in Yunnan, Guangdong, Guangxi and other places.

【Functions and indications】Relieve rheumatism, harmonize the stomach and intestines, and relieve pain caused by qi. Treat colds, rheumatism, diarrhea, vomiting, and injuries from falls.

[Usage and Dosage] For oral use: decoct in water, 3 to 5 qian. For external use: mash and apply or grind into powder and apply.

[Additional prescription] ① Treat enteritis and colds: take 3 to 5 qian of Chuifengsan. Decoction in water, twice a day.
