[Source] Medicinal material source: the whole herb of Saxifraga sibiricum of the Saxifragaceae family.

[Original form] Saxifraga saxifrage is a perennial herb, 4-10.5cm tall. Clustered. The stem is purple-red, densely covered with glandular hairs, with a smaller rosette of leaves at the base; the leaves are fleshy, elliptical to spoon-shaped and oblong, 3-5mm long, 1-1.6mm wide, with a cartilaginous short tip at the apex, glabrous on both sides or sparsely bristled on the back, with bristle-like eyelashes on the margins; the stem leaves are fleshy, denser, larger in the middle, gradually becoming smaller upwards and downwards, oblong, lanceolate to linear, with an acute and short tip at the apex, and those in the lower part have glandular hairs on both sides and margins; those above the middle are glabrous on the ventral side, with glandular hairs on the back and margins. Polychasium inflorescence, with 2-12 flowers, or solitary flowers borne at the top of the stem; pedicels covered with brown glandular hairs; sepals ovate, 3 veins not confluent at the tip; petals yellow, with orange spots at the bottom, nearly oblong to narrowly ovate, narrowed into claws at the base, 3 veins, with 2 scabs beside the lateral veins at the base; filaments awl-shaped; ovary nearly superior, ovoid to obovoid, with 2 styles. Flowering and fruiting period is July to September.
