[Source] It is the root of the Myrsinaceae plant Achyranthes angustifolia . Available all year round.

[Original form] A small climbing shrub, 40 to 70 cm tall, with thin and weak branches. The stems and branches are cylindrical, reddish brown, and the young branches are densely covered with brown glandular short hairs. Leaves are alternate; petioles are short and thin; leaf blades are ovate-narrowly lanceolate, 3-6.5 cm long, 8-12 mm wide, gradually pointed at the apex, rounded at the base, with shallow rounded edges, glandular ridges and protruding tips at the tooth tips, green above with brown glandular dots, light green below with light brown glandular dots and dark green lines, glabrous on both sides.
