[Original morphology] Thick-leaved Capsularia, perennial herb. The rhizome is round, 0.5-1.5cm long, 5-10mm in diameter, with numerous fibrous roots. Leaves are basal; nearly sessile; leaf blades are thick and fleshy, obovate-spatulate or narrowly obovate, 3.5-9cm long, 1.5-3.2cm wide, with rounded or obtuse apex, gradually narrowing in the middle, covered with grayish-white wool on the upper side, then becoming nearly glabrous, green, with white or light brown pearly wool on the lower side, margins curled upward with irregular serrations, and 4-6 pairs of lateral veins. The cyme has a few flowers; the peduncle is 8-12 long and covered with light brown spider-like hairs; the bracts are 2, subulate, about 2mm long; the calyx is about 3mm long, 5-lobed to the base, the lobes are narrowly linear, and the outside is covered with light brown short hairs; the corolla is purple, 1-1.4cm long, the tube is short, the eaves is two-lipped, the upper lip is 2-lobed, the lobes are equal, the lower lip is 3-lobed, and the lobes are nearly round; there are 2 fertile stamens, enclosed, the anthers are connected at the tip, and there are 2 reduced stamens; this stamen is glabrous, 8-10mm long, the style is enclosed, the anthers are connected at the tip, and there are 2 reduced stamens; the pistil is glabrous, 8-10mm long, the style is extended, and the stigma is 1, capitate. The capsule is up to 2.7 cm long and twisted in a spiral. Flowering period is June-July.

[Habitat distribution] Ecological environment: Growing on mountain rocks at an altitude of about 700m.
