[Original form] Lijiang Aconitum, perennial herb, 70-100cm tall. The root tuber is carrot-shaped, about 5.5 cm long and 1.6 cm in diameter. Stem erect, pubescent with recurved pubescence. Leaves are alternate; leaves at the bottom of the stem wither during flowering and have slightly long petioles; leaves above the middle of the stem have short petioles, 2-10mm long; leaf blades are broadly ovate or pentagonal-ovate, 7-12cm long, 7-10cm wide, cordate at the base, 3 deeply lobed slightly beyond the middle or to 4/5 of its length, the deep lobes are nearly connected, and covered with short soft hairs on both sides. The raceme is terminal, with many densely packed flowers; the axis of the inflorescence and the pedicel are densely covered with extended light yellow short soft hairs, and mixed with recurved short soft hairs; the lower bracts are leaf-shaped, and the bracts above the middle are oblong-linear; the pedicel is 1-2.5cm long; the bracteoles are narrowly oblong or linear, the flowers are bisexual and bilaterally symmetrical; the sepals are 5, petal-shaped, purple-blue, and covered with short soft hairs on the outside, the upper sepal is helmet-shaped, 0.9-1.1cm wide, 1.7-2cm long from the base to the beak, and the beak is short; the petals are 2, glabrous, the apex is curved outward, the lip is about 5mm long, 2 shallowly lobed, the spur is about 1mm long, semicircular, and slightly curved back; the stamens are numerous, glabrous, and the filaments are entire; the carpels are 5, glabrous. [Habitat distribution] Ecological environment: Growing on mountain grass slopes or forest edges at an altitude of about 3100m.
