[Chemical composition] The fruit contains isorhamnetin, isorhamnetin-3-β-D-glucoside, isorhamnetin-3-β-rutinoside, and oligosaccharides of quercetin and kaempferol. It contains more than 300 mg% of vitamin C, 3-4 mg% of carotene, 10-15 mg% of vitamin E, 0.2-0.4 mg% of vitamin B1, 0.4-0.5 mg% of vitamin B2, and 0.5-0.8 mg% of folic acid. It also contains malic acid, etc.
