[Source] Medicinal material source: the whole herb of Masson cypress of the Huperzetti family.

[Original morphology] Epiphytic plant with slender drooping branches, 15-60cm long, two to four times dichotomously branched, and branches with grooves. The leaves are nearly leathery, spirally arranged in 6-8 rows, close or sparse, obliquely spreading, with short petioles, triangular to lanceolate, 4-20mm long, 2.5-6mm wide, short-pointed at the apex, rounded at the base, entire, flat; the main vein is obvious. Sporangium spikes numerous, usually multi-branched, terminal branches slender, about 2mm in diameter; sporophylls sparsely or densely distributed, triangular to ovate-lanceolate, about 1mm long, acuminate at apex, rounded or cuneate at base, entire, green, leathery. Sporangium round, yellow.

[Habitat distribution] Ecological environment: attached to tree trunks or rocks in the forest.
