Stem up to 1.5 m long, branched, glabrous or nearly so. Leaves are alternate, pentagonal, 5.8-10 cm long, 8-12 cm wide, 3-partite, the central lobe is ovate-rhombus-shaped, acuminate, nearly pinnately lobed, with notched teeth, and the lateral lobes are 2-partite.
